Queen City Corvette Club All Chevy Charity Car Show, Charlotte, NC
Some PICS from the Queen City Corvette Club Chevy Show held on Saturday, September 06. This is the club’s annual Charity Show where $10,000 was generated for the club’s local charities (Pilgrim’s Inn, Blessed Assurance Adult Day Care) and the Hendrick Marrow Foundation. Awards were issued for QCCC Corvettes, visiting Corvettes, Camaros, other Chevy Cars, and Chevy trucks. There was a good turnout, around 275 cars… Lots of Corvettes from other clubs. It was hot and sunny but everyone had a good time as there were plenty of door prizes, a DJ, and a silent auction with good stuff, and some good BBQ, burgers, and dogs. The Hendrick facility is a couple of miles from the Lowes Motor Speedway and is a pretty big campus with several racing shops and museums. Rick Hendrick’s private museum was open for charity tours all day to see his personal car and rock guitar collections. It’s quite a collection and is presented very well.
